Question: What incisions are used to place implants?

Answer: There are two main incisions that are used. The most popular is placed in the crease at the bottom of the breast. The next is around the areola. There are two other routes that are much less popular. The other two are the armpit (axilla) and in the belly button (umbilicus). Each incision has its own advantages and disadvantages.
