Spider veins can be eliminated through a simple office procedure called Sclerotherapy.

A typical treatment session is 20-30 minutes during which a sclerosing solution is injected into treatable spider veins. The solution causes the veins to fade and gradually disappear. Several treatments may be needed to achieve optimum result. Improvement may continue for several months after treatment until your final results are apparent. In most cases 50%-70% of the treated vessels will be gone for good.

Discomfort during the treatment is minimal. After the treatments you will wear special compression stockings day and night for a week to help keep pressure on the veins treated. Bruising or discoloration of the treated area may occur temporarily after treatment. Normal activities can be resumed immediately, but we ask that you refrain from strenuous exercise for 24 hours after treatment.
